Summer Games

This morning was another hard wake up call.  It’s so hard to stay on routine when you’re away from your bed.  This is what this morning’s work out looked like.

20 minute jog outside followed by this circuit:

  • 50 jumping jacks
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 20 alternating lunges
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 10 tuck jumps
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 20 squats
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 60 sec. high knees
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 10 jump squats
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 10 burpees
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 60 jumping jacks
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 20 sec. mountain climbers
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 25 push ups (girly style)
  • 30 sec. jump rope
  • 60 sec. plank

Summer Olympics

If you saw me at any point yesterday, I may have mentioned once or twice that I will be watching the opening ceremonies that night.  Of course, I did miss the beginning due to some much anticipated best friend time and some peanut butter goodness…

We did catch the team walking in and the lighting of the torch.  (Hellooo, David Beckham!)  I was quite excited about watching and for the anticipating next couple weeks.  I love watching the swimming and my husband can’t get enough beach volleyball, so our TV time is set for a while.
